I found the flower of this protected Mangrove species to be very special - especially the 4 little heart shaped seeds at its core. I was inspired to capture the beauty of this little flower in jewellery form - for the wearer to treasure, but also to raise awareness to the plight of Mangroves across Australia and their importance in the local ecosystem.
